| NATE McVICKER |
Nate McVicker is a State Trooper who works criminal interdiction in the Midwest. He has more than 14 years of law
enforcement experience where the past ten years have been structured towards criminal interdiction. He was
instrumental in the rebirth of interdiction efforts within his state's department and currently acts as the Statewide
Criminal Interdiction Coordinator.
Nate McVicker has been credited with numerous, significant seizures over the past 14 years. He has personally seized
over 5 TONS of illegal narcotics and well over 3 MILLION dollars of U.S. currency from illegal drug proceeds. He has
been asked to do "ride-alongs" with fellow Troopers and other agencies across the United States as a mentoring
program. He has helped several officers nationwide identify the location of a hidden compartment both on scene and
while over the telephone.
Nate McVicker has been recognized by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration (USDOT-FMCSA) through the Drug Interdiction Assistance Program (DIAP), the El Paso Intelligence
Center (EPIC) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for his success and dedication in criminal interdiction
and has been the recipient of numerous awards. He has also received numerous awards from his own department for
his criminal interdiction success. He has been in a national training video "Patron Saints of the Mexican Drug
Underworld" where he discusses Saints one may encounter related to drug and currency trafficking.
Nate McVicker is a certified criminal interdiction instructor for DIAP, EPIC, several local training units, his state police
academy and for the Illinois Drug Enforcement Officers' Association (IDEOA). He is also a training coordinator for the
IDEOA. He continues to instruct courses for the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) and the
Multi-Jurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training center (MCTFT). He is considered a subject matter expert through
DIAP and EPIC in the field of criminal interdiction. He is a certified, professional expert in subconscious communication
and an expert in interviewing and interrogation and deciphering body language.
